FESTIVAL'S ARCHITECTURE


The 2015 edition of the Festival of Animation, Videogames and Comic is structured into four main sections: Screens, Forum, Ties and Ideatoon Summit.


Screens

Connect the audience with the work of the artists.

This section includes the Festival's animated film program: feature and short films, thematic screenings, and official selections. It is a sample of pieces from all around the world which shows an overview of the trends in the industry. They are a reference for national artists and companies and a platform to show their own productions. These screenings are performed both in Cine Morelos' facilities and in public space.


Forum

Connect the audience with knowledge from artists and professionals.

The Forum consists in Keynotes, Masterclasses and Workshops. This is the place where you have direct contact with national and international professionals of animation, video games, and comic. A space in which they share and exchange their knowledge, art, vision, expertise, and also discuss important issues in their fields.


Ties

Connect the Festival's community with itself to create a collaboration network that strengthens.

They Include a series of activities to generate networking among the Festival's community. It includes gamification experiences, direct contact with artists, autograph signings, a fair and parties where artists, professionals, producers and students have the chance to know each other and interact in a more personal and direct fashion.


Ideatoon Summit

Connects Mexican creativity with the world.

It is a specialized summit to connect national and international producers and distributors to create collaboration and development opportunities. Ideatoon Contest finalist and those wishing to acquire the Ideatoon Summit Passport can participate.

It consists in exclusive Workshops and Masterclass among other activities such as dinners and parties. It also includes pitching sessions with international channels, producers and distributors. This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity where Mexican creativity is internationally exposed and projected within the Festival of Cuernavaca.
