MAREC FRITZINGER

Production design and art direction | Germany / France

Marec worked at Disney as layout artist in the films The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Hercules and Tarzan. He developed the workbook for the "Elephant Falls" sequence along fellow colleague Simon O’Leary.

He later worked in pre-production in Kuzco film. Other projects in which he participated include One by One and Little Match Girl, two segments for Fantasia and The Jungle Book 2 and Enchanted. In 2005 he joined the layout and backgrounds team in the Curious George feature. In 2008-2009 he made design for the animated film Despicable Me.

He has been artistic director for Carlos Carrera's Ana y Bruno and has developed the animated series The monkey and Chancla.

He joined the team in Rovio Entertainment animation studio where the series and feature film of Angry Birds is prepared. Currently he leads the artistic direction of the film Max & Me.
