OFFICIAL SELECTION

We believe that beyond differences, what makes us human is our capacity to connect and see ourselves in the eyes of another person. That’s the reason that after the success of our 2015 call for entries, we decided to summon again the animation community to send their views on “Social gaps and how to overcome them.”

The creative community’s response to the call was amazing… We received over 1,400 pieces from 94 different countries. Once again, even the diversity of themes and tones, we realized certain common characteristics that we grouped in categories that apparently contradict each other, but deeply they have a common topic: Human condition.

As we mentioned in the call for entries, we believe that reality is not destiny, and beyond the differences and on top of every distance, that which unites us, is what we are.
