LAURENT M. ABECASSIS

Laurent was a visual effects supervisor on some television shows in the late 1990s and early 2000s. These include, for example, the effects on the pilot episode of Lost, related to the air crash (for which he won an Emmy Award). He also has the rare Guinness record for the Fastest Animated TV Show: Le Journul, produced and aired on the same day.

Also Laurent founded Di-O-Matic, a company dedicated to create 3D animation tools for facial animation and lipsyn. He is also co-founder of Klik, a 3D animation company based in Montreal.
