ALONSO RAMÍREZ RAMOS

Director and storyboard artist in Disney

Alonso currently works as a director and storyboard artist for the animated Disney Mickey Mouse series.

Originally from Leon Guanajuato, Alonso moved to the US in 2006 to begin his career at the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) with a focus on traditional animation. His work experience has led him to learn, contribute and collaborate with several animation studios such as Pixar, Disney Television and Anima Estudios, among others.

He has been honored with two Primetime Emmys and has another nomination, and has 1 Annie Award (and 3 other nominations) for his work as a storyboard artist.
