DAVID FEISS

Director, animator, writer and story artist

David Feiss most recently directed Sony Pictures Animation's Open Season: Scared Silly.

David joined Hanna-Barbera in 1978 while still a teenager. He later worked as animation director on the 1980s revival of The Jetsons; he was later a key animator on Jetsons: The Movie, as well as animating on Heavy Metal.

David then animated on the The Ren & Stimpy Show pilot "Big House Blues" and was an animation director on the show's first season. He later created the Cartoon Network original series Cow And Chicken and its spin-off, I Am Weasel. He directed every episode and served as a writer on both series.

David then worked in advertising, directing and animating dozens of television commercials, before joining Sony Pictures Animation where he served as head of story on the studio's first feature film, Open Season. He wrote the short film The Chubbchubbs Save Xmas for Sony Pictures Animation before serving as a story artist on Paramount's Oscar®-winning Rango and Reel FX Creative Studios' Free Birds.

David also created, produced and directed 52 episodes of Yoohoo and Friends starring Flavor Flav, currently airing on Cartoon Network Latin America and ABC Australia. Most recently, he directed four mini-movies for the home entertainment release of Sony Pictures Animation's Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs 2, entitled Steve's First Bath, Super Manny, Attack Of The 50ft Gummy Bear And Earl Scouts.
