John Aoshima

TV Director/Head of Story - USA

John Aoshima is known for his Directing work on such hits like American Dad, Gravity Falls, and most recently, DuckTales.

He has also taken position as Head of Story on animated features, “Kubo and the two Strings” at Laika and an “Untitled project” at Sony Pictures Animation, currently in development.

Since graduating from Calarts in 2000, he continues his striving career on variety of projects across the animation industry. John’s main focus is to visualize and develop entertaining stories for the global market as Director, Story Artist, and Story consultant.
