Carlos Alberto Nieto Gómez aka Betinorama, is the creator of El Diario de un Pedazo de Carne (Diary of a piece of meat) and author of El Mapa de mi Lonja (The map of my belly).

He studied marketing at the Tecnológico de Monterrey and learned to draw in a self-taught way. He worked for 6 years as a brand coordinator in consumer companies and in 2012 he started Diario de un Pedazo de Carne in social networks, a webcomic that portrays life with a couple with humor and design.

In 2017 he published his first graphic novel El Mapa de mi Lonja, a journey through different stages of his life from his memories of Mexico and his food. For 4 years he has lived in Brazil with his wife and is currently working on a new graphic novel of travel and travelers, and the second volume of Diario de un Pedazo de Carne.
