Denis Do | France/Luxembourg/Belgium, 2019 | 83 minutes

In 1975 Phnom Penh, a woman's 4-year-old son is snatched from her as Cambodia descends into horror. In spite of the madness, she fights to save her son and keep her family together.

About the director:

Born in Paris in 1985, Denis was raised in 3 different cultures, which all reflect on his thought process and work: from France to China, and Cambodia. In 2009 he graduated from the prestigious school Les Gobelins "L'école de l'image" where he developed his desire to tell human stories, personal and full of emotions, and to implement the story of one person within the larger frame of History – and all with a sleek and realist esthetic.
