Ride your Wave

Hinako is a 19-year-old girl who moves to the beach to go to college and follow her hobby and passion, surfing. When his apartment catches fire he is saved by Minato, a handsome and heroic fireman. Hinako and Minato gradually fall in love. A tragedy will change their lives, but they will meet again at sea.

About the director:

Masaaki Yuasa is a Japanese animator, storyboard artist, screenwriter, anime television and film director with a prolific career. Renowned for the style of his animation, he has credits in three dozen films and television shows (Animes) as director, screenwriter or animator (including the direction of an episode of Adventure Time ). He was winner of the Annecy Crystal in 2017 for his movie Lu over the Wall , and has been nominated on two other occasions: 2013 for Kick-Heart , and this year for Ride your Wave
