Environment Model Supervisor, Walt Disney Animation Studios | Spain-USA

Luis Labrador’s career in film began as a special makeup effects artist in Spain. Inspired by the ground-breaking CG work seen on screen in 1993, Luis transitioned from makeup effects to modeler working on projects at Gentle Giant Studio, Sony Imageworks and Dreamworks.

Luis joined the studio as a modeler for Wreck-It Ralph and has worked on films such as Frozen, Frozen 2 and the Academy Award-winning© short Feast. As an Environment Model Supervisor, Luis leads a group of artists that help craft believable worlds through environments and props.

He lives in Southern California with his spouse and long-haired Dachshund.
