Beatriz Navas Valdés

General Director of the Cinematography and Audiovisual Arts Institute ICAA of Spain

Beatriz Navas is the director of ICCA in Spain. She started collaborating with the La Casa Encendida de Fundación Montemadrid in 2003 and ran the audiovisual department from 2008 to 2014, and the music and art performances from 2014 to 2017. In 2017 she became the executrive producer at Sayaka Producciones developing projects for movies and televison. She is the co-founder of the online platform for independent cinema plat.tv, specialized in Spanish and Latin experimental films. In 2018 she published her book Y ahora, lo importante (Caballo de Troya).
