Mike L. Mayfield is an Animator, Writer, & current Supervising Director at Netflix.

While making his own cartoons, Mike has worked as: a Character Layout Artist on FOX’s King of the Hill, an Animator on major ad campaigns, the Assistant Director on an Emmy-nominated episode of American Dad!, the Director of ­3 episodes of FOX’s The Cleveland Show, & the Director of a music video for Earth, Wind & Fire.

He co-wrote, co-directed, & co-starred in a pilot for Comedy Central with Bob Odenkirk, followed by directing the 1st season of Adult Swim’s China, IL with Brad Neely. He produced segments for Comedy Central\'s TripTank, & worked as a Writer, Animation Director, & Executive Producer on 3 seasons of Adult Swim’s Mr. Pickles.

Mike directed 3 episodes of Big Mouth on Netflix, & served as Co-Supervising Director for seasons 2 & 3. Most recently, he was Supervising Director & Writer for Netflix’s The Midnight Gospel, created by Pendleton Ward & Duncan Trussell, & is Supervising a new unannounced Netflix show
