Travis Mangoang

Set Extension Artist

Travis discovered his passion for a career in Animation at the age of 17. Growing up watching Disney films, he fell in love with the songs, characters, and environments. Currently he is a Set Extension Artist working on matte paintings for skies and landscapes that extend the set of where the CG environments end. To create these contents he utilizes CG elements, photography, and digital paint.

Born and raised on the island of Hawaii, he relocated to Los Angeles and attended the Art Institute of Los Angeles where he studied Media Arts and Animation. He joined the Studio in December 2018 to work on “Frozen 2”.

Currently he resides in Burbank, CA with his biggest supporters, his amazing wife and energetic daughters (that either always keep him on his toes, or put nail polish on them!)
