In Paris in 1930, Luis Buñuel is left penniless after a film leads to a falling out with Salvador Dalí. On a whim, Buñuel's good friend, sculptor Ramón Acín, buys a lottery ticket and promises to devote his winnings to fund Buñuel's next film in one of the poorest and forgotten areas of Spain.

About the director:

Salvador Simó Busom is from Barcelona. He worked doing animation and VFX in films such as Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (2008), The Prince of Persia (2010), The Jungle Book (2016) and Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar's Revenge (2017), to name a few. As a director he has worked on series such as Max Adventures (2005), Paddle Pop Adventures (2011), in addition to the animated films Petualangan singa pemberani (2012) and Buñuel in the labyrinth of the turtles (2018).
