Los Hermanos Calavera están envueltos en misterio. Los primeros rumores de tres creadores enmascarados involucrados en proyectos de animación comercial y editorial empezaron alrededor del 2010. Son conocidos por su inclinación por momentos de acción y epicidad.

En el 2020 presentaron el proyecto Rey Mysterio vs La Oscuridad en conjunto con Cartoon Network en Pixelatl. Han colaborado con Cartoon Network, Tiendas Martí, Puma, Nike y más.

Se dice que en el 2016 fundaron el estudio ¡Viva Calavera! dedicado al desarrollo conceptual, dirección de arte, storyboarding y animación, para contenido propio y en colaboración con otros estudios.
