1882, Saint Petersburg. Sasha, a young Russian aristocrat, has always been fascinated by her grandfather's life as an adventurer. A renowned explorer, he designed a magnificent arctic ship, but he hasn't returned from his last expedition to the North Pole. To save her family's honor, Sasha runs away. Headed towards the Great North, she follows her grandfather's trail in search of his famous ship.

About the director:

After studies in drawing at Penninghen ESAG and several years working in comics, illustration and advertising, Rémi Chayé discovered animation and concentrated his skills on feature films. He was assistant director and storyboarder on such films as Tomm Moore's BRENDAN AND THE SECRET OF KELLS and Jean-François Laguionie's THE PICTURE. His first feature-length animation film is LONG WAY NORTH (2015), winner of the Audience Award at Annecy International Animation FF and Best Director at the Cartoon Movie Tributes.
