ANIMACIÓN GOURMET

Animación Gourmet is a collaboration between Pixelatl and Flor de Mayo, Hotel, Restaurant & Spa, to generate an audiovisual and gastronomic experience that fill all the senses.

Five Mexican animated short films were selected by Pixelatl, and the chef Perla Marcos used them to create unique dishes to taste when the short films are being projected. In turn, the sommelier Maurico Millán designed the pairing for each dish with Monte Xanic wines, so that the experience was complete.

• Meal: Watermelon slices with chili, goat cheese with arugula and fried caper, with a shot of watermelon juice with basil perfume as a complement.
• Wine-pairing: Chenin colombard, Monte Xanic

• Short: Rebote (Rebound), Nuria Mechaca | 6 min | More
• Meal: Tuna, Marinated mushrooms, chickpeas with cilantro with cabbage and coriander cream.
• Wine-pairing: Red Wine Shyrah, Monte Xanic

• Short: Galatica, de Camila Uboldi | 5 min | More
• Meal: Elote cake, with avocado ice cream and chili-pineapple jam.
• Wine-pairing: Chenin blanc-late harvest, Monte Xanic.
