A Technical Director in a film or videogame studio is a combination of artist and programmer responsible for producing the director's aesthetic vision in a production, from the technological aspect.

Cartoon Saloon is an Irish studio that has surprised the world with their artistic and narrative approach to filmmaking with a style that privileges illustration. The three feature films they have produced have been recognized and awarded internationally. The technical director of the studio, Mark Mullery, will share during this class the challenges he faced and the way he solved them to achieve the unique style and aesthetics embodied in The Breadwinner, which has been acclaimed all over the world.
