Becoming a director

Keynote | Speaker: John Aoshima

Before directing animated series in Prime Time, John Aoshima, has participated in different positions around storytelling that have allowed him to develop his unique style to direct and lead animation projects, like Gravity Falls, American Dad, or supervise the story of "Kubo" of Laika.

In this keynote the director will talk about his path to becoming a director and compare the similarities and important differences between serial projects and feature films.
