Co Founder and Executive producer in Punk Robot - Chile

Patricio Escala is co-founder and producer at PunkRobot, an animation studio based in Santiago de Chile that has developed projects for television, advertising and feature films, such as the pre-school series Flipos (2010) and Las adventures of Muelín and Perlita (2013), and the animated short film Bear Story (2014), winner of the first Animation Oscar Award for Latin America.

His credits as a producer or executive producer, includes the short films I am Little Red (2017), Duerme Tranquila (2016) and the mentioned one Story of a bear, where also participated like publisher and animator.

He is the producer of the series Guitarra y Tambor (2018) and La leyenda de Zeta y Ozz for Cartoon Network Latinoamérica.

He studied audiovisual communication at the Duoc UC de Concepción, and since 2010 he is also an academic at the Universidad de las Américas in Chile.
