elfestival.mx

The festival website has three functions.

  1. It is an informative portal about the guests and the details of the festival activities.
  2. It is where passes are bought and where they are assigned to users (if you buy more than one pass)
  3. During the festival, it is also the node to enter each activity hosted on the various platforms that we will use.

In this text we will explain point 1: how we structure the information so that you can find it when you need it.

  • For details on how to acquire and assign passes, go to this article.
  • For details on where to find the links to enter each activity, we will publish an article in the following days in the Information / Attend section

How do I find the information I need?

In the main menu of this site you will find sections that will appear over the following weeks: Information, Guests, Contents, Program, Store and My account.

When you enter each of these options, you will find subsections under the section title. For example, in this section, under "Information", you will find the options: "The Festival", "Venues" and "Attend". In each of them you will find various articles (if you are on a mobile they are below this text).

Why aren't all the sections available at the same time?

This website handles a lot of information, and in many cases the descriptions of the activities must be approved by their public relations officers of the guests.

That is why the sections of this portal are opening over the weeks: first the "Guests" section, then the "Contents" section (where you can find the details of each activity: day, time and pass that you need to access) and finally "Program" with the schedule of all the activities per day.

Structure of the Contents Section

The activities and contents of the festival are organized in five different programs: Screenings, Conferences, Workshops, The Fair and Networking. (You can see more detail of the structure of the programs in this article).

In the contents section you will find these five programs, and under the title of each one (with the exception of the workshops), a submenu will appear according to the type of activity or content. For example: in the case of conferences you will see options such as Keynotes, Master classes or talks.

IMPORTANT: It took us little more than a week to publish the details of all the activities, so return to that section several times to know the news.

Program

About three weeks before the festival, we publish the full schedule per day with all the activities, in a system that allows you to filter the activities by type of pass.

In addition, the "Program" section handles requests to participate in activities with limited capacity, such as workshops and "Coffee with ..."
