David B. Levy, a new media/animation professional, heading an animation team for Disney Publishing Worldwide, where he leads projects based on the world's most beloved IP. Leading a digital animation team at Disney Publishing Worldwide under Disney Consumer Products, focused on creating apps for all lines of business in The Walt Disney Company. Besides providing creative supervision, other leadership duties include founding, staffing, training, budgeting, and scheduling the animation department.

Levy has authored 3 essential books on the animation business (Your Career in Animation, Animation Development, and Directing Animation) and is the co-author of Independently Animated: Bill Plympton (2011), published by Rizzoli press.

Prior to joining Disney, Levy worked as an award-winning animation director, helming episodes for Nickelodeon's Blue's Clues and Blue's Room, the Sesame Workshop's Pinky Dinky Doo, Cartoon Network's Adult Swim series, Assy McGee, dozens of shorts for PBS Kids' The Electric Company, among others. In 2007, Levy signed a development deal with The Disney Channel for his preschool series creation Fiona Finds Out.
